1. Content of sponsored blog

Sponsored blog content
Sponsored blog content

Sponsored blog content is a tried and true investment for all types of brands, and it works wonders in the right setting. This is a clear victory in many ways to make money blogging. Time and time again, this method is not only proven to work for advertisers, but it also helps you make money blogging at the same time.

What is sponsored content?

This is when the company charges you in exchange for writing an article about them, or a topic related to them, where your product, service or brand is a resource known to your readers. It is prominently displayed. Learn more. This is one of those sweet deals between a blogger and an advertiser where they are both benefiting from the relationship.

Here are some examples of sponsored content on my blog. When sponsored content is well done (and not just plain and simple ad), it turns out to be a real, unique and high-pressure sales pitch. In my opinion, if your sponsored post doesn't lead to providing real value to your readers, then you're already off course.

You've already built trust with your audience, so they trust you to recommend products you know and believe. That is why I always recommend staying true to your audience when creating sponsored content. So how are you sponsored? If you have a popular heavy traffic blog, you may already have flood sponsorship opportunities in your inbox.

If not, talk about what you do to get sponsored content deals. To get started, identify a handful of products and your companies that fit your niche perfectly. Often you discover that these are products or services that you are already using. List at least 10 products that you want to advertise and that you can enthusiastically support.

Go to the top 10 product websites and find someone who works in marketing or public relations for the company, and track their email address using simple blogging tools like Hunter or Voila Norbert. Please note that many companies open to sponsorship actively advertise sponsorship email addresses anywhere on their contact pages.

Finally, it's time for your readers to send you a cold email with their proposal on sponsored content, with a strong emphasis on why they should be looking for sponsorship dollars. Here is an example of a sponsor submission email that you can use in your Blogger Reach (or Brand Sponsor Request).

This is just a rough example of what you can say when you get close, and focus on why a sponsor should take the opportunity to reach their audience. Remember to always keep it personal, you are sending an email to a real person, not a robot. Finally, if you plan to go the sponsored content route, you will need a media kit to highlight your sponsorship opportunities.

Having a media package is amazing not only to attract the right business, but to raise your prices. In the next part, I will walk you on the right path to creating a media package that will attract and sell to the right companies. How to create a high conversion media kit (to make money blogging).

If you're taking the advertising and sponsorship route to make money, you'll need a media kit that gives advertisers metrics and important insights about their audience, helping them decide that their sponsorship is worth the investment. Yes or no (like my deck here).

How To Make Money Blogging Advertising Media Kit Pitch Deck. Don't worry, a media kit is very easy to use with Microsoft PowerPoint or Keynote and you'll quickly reap the benefits of having a single, concise document to share with potential advertisers. Having a media kit clearly included on your blog.

I recommend highlighting your contact and working with my pages.. will let companies know that you are open to sponsors. Another plus is that a media kit also shows clear fixed prices, helping you to avoid un optimistic and poorly adjusted advertisers. Create a launch pad for money blogs, for example from advertisers.

Here are the essentials you should include in your own media kit to really make money blogging and quality earth sponsors. A quick blur on you. After all, you and your blog are products. Why should sponsors invest in you? Breakdown of your reader. Who is your audience?

What are your demographics? What are your interests? Who buy your traffic report. This is where Google Analytics comes in. You will need to show page view statistics so advertisers can see how many people they will reach. Advertising opportunities.

What are you selling? Advertising space? Sponsored blog post? Advertising podcast? Affiliate Association? Email marketing on your list? All of the above? It can be scary at first, but if you make sure the price matches the size (and level of engagement) of your audience, then you're on the right track.

Check out other blogger media kits in your specific industry to see how they are valuing their opportunities and how they compare. As for pricing, I now charge $ 2,500 for a sponsored post to reach my audience, but when you're just getting started, as readers grow, $ anywhere It's common to order from 100 to $ 500. He'll take the needle by your sponsor.

Make sure your media kit is clear, concise, and visually impaired. Advertisers will want to download and continue it until they decide to spend money on you. You also want an easy way to stay in touch with sponsors, so they can get the ball rolling with a quick email or by submitting the contact form.

2. Affiliate program

Let's talk about affiliate programs. If you ask me, participating in (and promoting) most affiliate programs is easier than looking for blog sponsors. Companies that already have affiliate programs are ready and willing to give you money in exchange for targeting your blog readers.

Which means you need to create your own products before you start blogging money. Sponsors are not required to launch or invest. But, to generate significant affiliate marketing income, you usually need a good amount of traffic to your blog first. For example, here is a snapshot of my Bluehost affiliate income for the month of February 2019.

Where I earned $ 43,510.00 in referral fees from them ... how to earn money! What I like most about affiliate programs is that they skip the cold access phase that other channels require like sponsorship and freelancing.

Also, many affiliate programs, like the best web hosting plans (also those with monthly paid web hosting plans) are well automated for you to get up and promote quickly. Some of my most effective positions to generate affiliate income.

In this tutorial, how to select a domain name that fits the niche of your blog. Compilation of more than 25 internet bluehost reviews.

Like sponsors, you pay to recommend a product to your readers. The best thing about affiliate programs is that many companies offer them. • Amazon associates
  • CreativeLive
  • Udemy
  • Bluehost
  • Shopify

(As I am doing in my last secondary SmartWP project) - And know that your audience craves more.

3. Advertising on blogs

Showing ad space is possibly the easiest and most basic (and fastest) way to blog to start making money. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying basic in a bad way. I mean simple ad space is the main ingredient when you first discover how to make money blogging, and this is the first channel I personally have.

It is followed by But because it is relatively easy to do, it has a tendency to pay the least amount in financial returns. For reference, this simple blog post (image below) on my blog generates $ 800 to $ 1,200 per month in blog revenue based on approximately $ 300,000 monthly readers here.

If I am involved in this, then I blog all the different ways to earn money. One of the lowest returns in terms of total dollars earned (especially my amount of traffic). However, trading is off, so I have to make a daily effort to make money from this channel because I am an approved publisher with the Carbon Advertising advertising platform.

Which comes out and with advertisers like Atlassian broker, Adobe Jobs. Bored, and hundreds of other tech related gear companies wanting to reach my audience. Is blogging still a legitimate way to make money?

In short, yes. Ad space remains an active component in many digital marketing campaigns, and for good reason. First, it mimics pre-digital advertising: billboards, magazine placements, newspaper ads, etc. On the right blogs (especially if you followed my guide on how to creatively name a blog), advertising can be an incredibly easy way to get branding and public attention.

Ads can still be a great way to make money, but you should choose a more curated ad network. You can advertise on your blog and start earning money with this channel in several ways. The most popular, of course, starts with Google Adsense. Just sign up, put a code provided by Google on your site where the ad will go, and advertisers will bid when they reach your audience with relevant terms.

Keep in mind that when you use Google Adsense, you don't have much control over what is advertised on your blog. If you want to be very loyal to your brand and engage your audience, try a more industry specific and tightly controlled advertising platform such as What I Use (Carbon Advertising) or look for other options.

Do it, closer to the audience you have, or if you want to drive through the 7 best performing ad networks for bloggers. If you want to make money blogging by taking advantage of the Display Advertising Network, here are my picks for the best people to rate your blog:

  1. Mediavine (all topics)
  2. Carbon advertising (business, design, development issues)
  3. PropellerAds (all themes)
  4. Google AdSense (all topics)
  5. Taboola (all subjects)
  6. BlogAds (all topics)
  7. Media.net (all topics)

If you want to keep deeper control of the ads on your blog, I recommend choosing money by blogging with channels like sponsored content (above), where you personally work with a sponsor, who wants to reach your audience? Plus, if you want to rely on advertising revenue, you can better learn how to write a blog title that consistently attracts new readers.

You certainly need to find companies in your niche that want to advertise on your site, but you will almost always be able to make better paying brokers with this approach. Also, as time increases your audience, companies will start contacting you for sponsorship opportunities.

Sell your products and services. Asking other companies to pay you in exchange for sharing your products with your audience is not the only way to make money. When you're still figuring out how to monetize your blog, it's important to keep in mind what you're really excited about..maybe not advertising other companies' products?

Where you are personally trained, where you can find those opportunities. Sell your products and services to readers. This is one way to make money blogging: writing an e-book (and selling it to my audience this way, The Habits of Highly Successful Bloggers). Habits of Successful Bloggers eBook (Hardbound) How to make money Blogging.

For example, if you are a parent who likes to share parenting tips on your blog, but you don't intend to sell your own product to readers in one day ... then sponsored content and advertising avenues. be your best move. However, on the other hand, if you are a chef sharing amazing new dishes and want to create a personal brand for yourself.

It might be a better goal to finally start the process of learning to sell by moving forward. Earn Money is a simple compilation of all your best recipes with beautiful images and step by step tutorials. Testing to learn to make money blogging with an easy digital product can also pave the way for many new and exciting opportunities.

Maybe your favorite book will be noticed by your favorite publisher and make a printed book deal. Perhaps a television network sees your growth on YouTube and Instagram and wants to take you to its popular shows? The possibilities that you can already take the initiative to create your own products and services are endless.

These top blogging books, blogging tips, and blogging courses will expand anyway, allowing you to partner with them to more effectively deliver mutually beneficial digital products to your audience. Fortunately, you already have an idea of what you like to do and what you are capable of, because from now on we are going to talk about how to make money blogging without the need to depend on external advertisers.

Make money selling your own copy of the product blog. Before we go over the many ways you can make money blogging from your content, I'd like to share it with a quick pricing discussion ... We've talked about the value of your sponsored content and blog advertising, but this is the next part. a little different.

When you sell something in person, you're pricing anything, so be sure to consider your blog's overhead costs, not just pick an arbitrary number that feels good. "Do you want to make money blogging? You must be considerate when setting the price of your products and services."

If you are pricing a digital product, such as an ebook or online course, you may not think of any overhead, but it is important to understand the skills you are contributing. How long did it take to master? The time it takes you to do, and what that will consume and take, depending on your content.

You may need to try a few different prices before the sweet spot comes. Definitely check out what your partner is doing to get inspired. Your followers can buy regardless of price, but others will definitely check the price before hitting the buy button on your blog.

4. Sell courses online

Sell courses online
Sell courses online

How to make money blogging aside and monetize your blog courses. Do you have a skill that you can teach others? Do your readers see you for your experience in a particular area? Monetize that skill by creating an online course and you'll be on the fast track to learning how to earn money. "Selling your blog online course today is a powerful (win-win) way to earn money."

Creating an online course can be as simple as filming a series of how-to videos that teach blog readers how to do something meaningful based on their own skills, experiences, and successes. If you excel at something, there are others who will benefit from your experience and accelerate your learning curve.

Major online course platforms like Udami, Skillshare, and Creativelive have a wide variety of courses, ranging in length from 30 minutes to 30 hours or more, with longer courses naturally requiring higher prices as they are often more deep. At the other end of the spectrum, an online course can take as long as you allow.

A shot of a movie was filmed here several years ago, which delved too much into a 30-day step-by-step process for students to follow. Needless to say, it took me a bit of time to create all of the content, but it was one of the most effective courses for my students that I have released. Make money blogging with the Ryan Robinson Example online course.

My advice, as you are still learning how to make money blogging with online courses, is to start by creating a short course (less than 60 minutes of video content) on a very specific niche topic that can be taught without too much hand. Road Catch Take It From Me ... I've created 4 online courses in the last 5 years, all of which differ in size, scope, and subject areas, you want to start making your first course around the block a simple course.

How can you create your first online course?

First, you must determine what skill or process you want to teach (and how long it will take someone to learn it). Then you will need to check the idea of the course with your readers, or go out and start a conversation with your target clients, to make sure that the audience that really pays is for the course you are creating.

Always validate your online course idea before spending time creating content. Suppose you're hitting it on Instagram, and your readers want to know how you do it. You can put together a program that teaches them step by step how to become an Instagram follower. The different modules in your course can focus on different topics, such as:

  • Basics of taking attractive photos
  • How to find the ideal publishing time for your audience
  • Write attractive captions and take advantage of hashtags

Going from 0 to 1,000 followers in 90 days. Such an online course would be a great example of a perennial example of how students can run through their time and apply, meaning that it is a relatively "practical and forget it" style. The property is, rather than something where students need to tune into weekly live sessions.

This is definitely a very attractive way to earn money by blogging. "The courses are a great way to monetize your blog because they require so little time and effort." If you're a fitness blogger, bodybuilder, nutritionist, or otherwise, consider selling something like a 30-day plan for your specific exercise.

This may include:

  1. Video tutorials on how to do specific workouts
  2. Preset meal programs and nutritional guidelines
  3. Shopping tips and cooking recipes
  4. Weekly training plan
  5. Online community support

All of these different components will be designed to work together and give students a common end goal or change. The sky's the limit when it comes to selling online courses as a way to make money blogging. As you always thought, make sure the ton is relevant to your audience before actually investing the ton in doing so.

Validating the concept of your course can be as simple as tweeting about your idea, talking about it in your Instagram story, or sharing a short blog post asking your readers and followers if this course is like this. What they are not interested in.

Feel their reaction, ask the most committed readers to put their money where their mouth is ordering the course in a discounted way to the east (the only true assumption is that people are willing to pay for your course Or not) and then you can build with Trust your curriculum based on the feedback you receive.

I will soon compile my own guide to creating (and selling) online courses to create a way to earn money. When you get more courses for your audience, you will fix your process and learn how to correct this way of making money over time. For now, here are some of the best resources for learning how to create your first online course:

  • Develop six-figure online business sales courses
  • How to sell your own course online without a market
  • How to create, sell and benefit from online courses
  • Again, focus on keeping it simple for your first online course.

5. Physical products

Earn money Monetize your blog with blogs and physical products. Okay, okay ... I know you've probably started a blog because you think, "I don't want to be in the physical space of the product, Ryan. I just make money every day without creating products and sending packages." I want to write and create.

And I understand that. I personally don't physically sell on my website (now), but listen to me because a lot has changed over the years. You no longer need to store your own inventory - you can leave your products at any time to print shipping labels or store them in a cardboard box. This relatively practical approach is a lucrative way to sell products to make money today.

What is dropshipping? Dropshipping is a business model that you can use to manage an online store without having to maintain any inventory. Once you make a sale from your blog, your supplier (a warehouse that packs and ships orders for sellers) will ship your products directly to your customer's door, for a fee, of course.

However, you don't have to worry about the storage, packaging, or shipping of your products. If you want to make money blogging by selling physical products, go one step further ... you no longer need to make your own products.

You can find an existing product category on the market today (with proven demand and paying customers), then find a supplier on a site like Alibaba that will create a private label version of a product from which you can start selling it yourself. same. Power. Examples of some private label products you can sell include:

  • Vitamins, protein powders and nutritional supplements.
  • Yoga pants and sportswear for women.
  • Backpacks, speakers, chargers and other travel accessories (if you are a travel blogger)
  • Makeup and Cosmetic Products
  • See more ideas here

And remember to open an online store that is closely related to your blog, along with how to submit orders, collect customer information, collect payments, and update your orders. Oh, is that so! Now let's take this real life example from our own previous business. Today, my friend Matt still runs the own-brand phone case business that we launched together after college.

After finding some online vendors that can make us high-quality phone cases, the kinds of designs we saw trends with on sites like Etsy and Amazon, we started the business and saw it in a one-sided $ 160,000 Augmented project, which it was good. Marketing through Facebook and other online channels.

Also, I started a company blog that teaches other people how they can build a phone case business and for those who were serious about getting started, we sold them the tools and training on how we would launch our own version of the business that we would meet, creating a new source of income and one of the first ways I learned how to make money from..

blogging Choosing to sell physical products as a way to make money blogging is a personal option that you want to decide for yourself based on the niche, the type of business you want to start. When you win a massive group of readers, the physical products are great, or the product naturally aligns with your niche and is in proven demand.

If you've found followers who are excited about using your brand, you can also follow the loot route. I'm talking about t-shirts, mugs, prints and other branded equipment that can be hosted online and shipped by a printer. If the product naturally fits your audience, then start testing this way to earn money by blogging.

6. Launch a software tool

Create a money blogging software tool to monetize a blog. Are you a software developer by trade? If not, you may have found a good friend or former colleague. In its simplest form, a software tool is something that people (your blog reader or even an independent client) use to automate a process.

You can use, or a series of processes, and avoid working more manually. "If you have acquired technical skills, creating software is a great way to make money blogging." To give you a great meta-example of this in action here, my blog runs on a theme called OptimizePress (for my CMS, WordPress).

That WordPress theme is a software product that I bought, and because they release regular updates, they get an annual subscription to get premium updates and support. It's possible to run a blog without using a theme like WordPress or OptimizePress, but the very visual nature of how this theme works means that I never need to run a single line of code to run my blog on a daily basis.

No need to touch or learn any coding language. When OptimizePress was first released, they created a software product that dramatically simplified the process of running an engaging WordPress blog. It's worth paying, and I've been a customer for six years. In this sense, software and other digital products are not limited only to themes like WordPress. Other examples of software that can help you make money, like blogging, include:

  1. Mobile app
  2. Productivity tools
  3. Email Marketing Service Providers
  4. Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Tool
  5. Even video games

If a process or a series of people is done on a regular basis, the software can be built to help automate or simplify those activities, and if you have an audience of readers who share this same challenge, you can make money very easily by solving their needs. through the software. The fun part will be working with a handful of readers to build and refine your software before launching it worldwide.

7. Sell your own services

Selling Your Own Services
Selling Your Own Services

How to earn money by blogging and monetizing your blogging sales services. Selling your time, skills, and experience as a service aligns very closely with selling online courses (and freelance work, which we'll expand on later). However, when it comes to selling your services, there is a big difference from selling courses:

You are working individually or in a small group with a client to provide personal help or deliverables. Selling your experience as a service is a smart way to earn money without much effort. However, the common theme is that once again you discover a clear skill you already have and use it to make money on blogging. Services you can sell (among many other ways to earn money online)

  • Consult with companies per hour.
  • Logo design on sites like 99Design or Dribble
  • Training individuals in a monthly retainer
  • Copy or blog content writing for brands
  • Edit podcasts and use your audio engineering skills
  • Carrying out search engine optimization projects for online brands.
  • Create a website or software tool for established companies
  • If you have a skill, it can be offered as a service ...

Since services are often run individually and involve working closely with one customer at a time, this means that wealth blogs will not be selected in the same way that they would be. There will be affiliate income or course sales. However, it can still be very attractive if you are paying a premium rate to established customers; it's worth your time. For example, let's say you are a business coach ...

You can sell a course to market your business that costs $ 150. If you have a large audience, this can be a great way to earn money. If your audience isn't large yet, reach out to small groups of people for $ 500 in an individual training package, or even a monthly fee for a service you provide. You can give. $ 3,000 to manage all of your social media channels and increase your followers.

It is a numbers game, and it is up to you to determine its price and time. That said, here is my guide to pricing my freelance services in a way that allows you to make money blogging and still save something at the end of the year. Where clients need your services (and experience).

Later in this guide on how to make money from blogging, we dive deep into freelance work (working with companies) as a specific way to monetize your blog. But for now, here are my picks for the best places to find ready and capable clients for your service offerings. While we sell our services, our blogs scale as well as other ways to make money, this is a very easy place to start.

8. Write (and sell) eBooks

Writing (and Selling) eBooks
Writing (and Selling) eBooks

How to earn money with eBooks to monetize your blog. We've already briefly talked about how writing and selling e-books (your own digital product) is another great way to make money, largely because your income is written after the book. How it can be measured without the need to incur additional costs.

With each new sale you make, the vast majority (if not all) of the profits come directly to you. By selling an ebook directly to your blog and collecting payment through Stripe or PayPal. There is no intermediary. No publisher No distributor No retail store. This means that when you learn how to write an e-book and sell it.

You will maintain the maximum possible profit margin on your e-book sales. "Selling e-books is a great way to write on a blog - your income is recorded at no additional cost." E-books have been one of my trusted sources of passive income over the years, and have been central to my own personal journey in learning how to earn money.

In a way that gives my readers more (or more) Se benefits himself. Here's a snapshot of the sales report that shows how much I've earned from my eBook (Habits of Highly Successful Bloggers) since launch:

This ebook is an asset that I created about a year ago. In addition to updating it several times a year, it's a very good way to monetize my blog, only from readers who discover it after reading my blog-related articles. Money is not a bad way to blog, is it?

Earn money blogging from virtual summits to monetize your blog. Yes, you saw it well. In each of these video interviews, the old man on the corner. In 2017, I was placed near individually planned planning, production, launching and orchestration at a virtual internal sales summit.

Over the course of three months, I recorded 55 video interviews with some of the world's most recognized entrepreneurs and vendors. I created a complete website, created each page, edited videos, designed graphics, set up our promotional associations and launched email sequences using one of the best website builders (WordPress) to organize virtual summits.

Discarded and everything. Members use to promote the event. It was a lot of work. But, this side project gave me $ 30,000. "Hosting a virtual summit is a great way to make money from your blog. Here's how to do it ..." But just getting paid to build a virtual summit for another company is just about making money with this monetization. It is the only way.

You can organize your own virtual summit. A virtual summit is a live (or prerecorded) event covering a specific topic with multiple guest speakers in tow. That's why the importance of finding your gotra constantly hurts me. If you have a group of like-minded readers on your email list, each with their own community that aligns with your message.

You'll get a virtual pinnacle for the audience, waiting to be invited. A virtual summit is the culmination of blogging to make money in all of the above ways. You are teaching, you are training, you are selling. Think about your audience and take them. When you are sure how you have answered these questions, start planning the event.

  1. What do they want to learn?
  2. How can you help them?
  3. Do you have enough material to make a summit?
  4. How many speakers do you want
  5. Is this a live webinar-based or in-person summit?
  6. Who will attend and when should it be?
  7. Be sure to give yourself enough time to do your summit together.
  8. How can you earn money with a virtual summit?
  9. Well there are a few different ways to monetize a summit.

The most direct (and easiest way to run your first round) is by selling tickets for the ticket. Anywhere between $ 20 and $ 200 depends on your industry. You can discount the price for early risers. To promote this event, also ask all your speakers for their audience. Another way to demonetize your summit is to log in to watch "Live" for free and then sell a full access pass to anyone who wants to see the speakers that were lost.

With both approaches, you can make money selling another product after blogging with your Summit audience, perhaps an online course, e-book, or training package that expands on the concepts covered during the live summit. In any case, creating a virtual summit will probably be your primary focus for the quarters.

If you go to the summit, you should also make sure to have another monetization while your focus is only on the project. Use your own talent to earn money. You are skilled. You have experience. Make Money Blog is a blog with a society. When you have a growing blog, you have an audience, and when you have an audience that regularly comes back for more than what you are giving, you can make money and it will create a unique business partnership opportunity to advance blogging.

Your Audience "When you have an audience, you can create opportunities to monetize your blog with those readers." Trade associations can shake in many ways, making it difficult to explain just one. A trade association can be as easy as an affiliate relationship as we have already covered above.
